Hello fellow members,

Well I knew this would come eventually, I was just hoping it wouldn't be this soon. Our website has been hosted off of my personal webspace for almost a year now. For the past 3 years I have not had to pay for that webspace because I got it through a promotional offer the hosting company had run when they first came online. It is getting very close to the end of that 3 year mark. I do not want to see our website die because of this.

After the recent additions and changes that I have made to our website it has gotten almost double the traffic compared to previous months. I have been receiving more and more e-mails from people curious about our club. I remember when I brought up the idea of creating a website to Dima, he thought it would not get looked at. In the months prior to adding the forums our website averaged between 1300-1600 hits a month, and those were all unique visits. This site has brought alot of attention to our club, and is an excellent way for us to present ourselves to possible sponsors. These are a few more reasons why I don't want to see this site go.

These are also reasons why I must ask all of you to donate to the site if possible. Your donation will only be used to pay for the cost of webspace. I am still maintaining the site at no charge to the club, because I enjoy doing it for all of you! I am already making my donation by paying half the cost of the webspace and setting up/maintaining the site. I am asking that you guys help fill in the rest of the gap so we can keep this site going.

Right now I am asking for donations of only $5 to help keep our site alive. Those of you that do donate will be placed in a special usergroup on the forums, you will be allowed an attachment of any size, and will be provided an ipmcsfl.com e-mail address in recognition of your donation. Thank you in advance to all of you that will donate!

just a little correction. i did not say the website will not be looked at. i said the forum will not be used. and a quick look under the member's tab shows that out of 20 members only 6 are actively using the forum. while having our own home IS NICE, the facts bring forward a question of whether keeping the forum up and investing money and eric's valuable time in it to keep it up is really worth it/worthwhile?...especially that we had a free site with no restrictions ( only that our mods were "a little" slow  )

i REALLY hope more people join and use it on regular basis. i am not trying to sound negative about the forum, i am all for it (remember, i started the club to bring people together) but i just don't want to see resources wasted with no reward.

keep registering and using the forum people. checking the forum and answering a couple of threads once a day is not that hard or time consuming :D
