Think your car is the ''hottest'' in South Florida? The Pembroke Pines Street Machines Car Show may be just the place for you to earn that distinction.

The Sept. 24 show offers people a chance to view cars, shop for merchandise and participate in raffles.

Awards for ''Best of Show'' and other distinctions will be given out in adult and teen categories.

To be in the show, register by Sept. 19. The show is limited to 100 cars. Advance registration is $5, and the cost to register the day of the show, if there is room, is $10. The show is free for spectators, who get to participate in the judging. The event will run from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Blvd. For information call 954-435-6529.

most of the cars in the club dont have work done to them. its just a matter of showing support for the club as a whole. as a prospective member i feel it would be a good idea for you to come out and show exactly how dedicated you plan to be to the club.

i am guessing the pp city government is closed due to the storm.
i didn't call since i don't want to organize this. i am tired of organizing stuff, spending time and energy on stuff and then being disrespected and my work unappreciated :rolleyes:

The show is from 4pm-8pm. you guys need to recheck your schedules. even if you show up late you will still be helping out the club in numbers.

i didn't register but when i called on thursday, the lady said that only about 50 cars registered out of 100 available spots. we can still register on saturday and i am available. call me if someone decides to go.
